 To inspire and engage students in preserving the vibrancy of Telugu as a National language and promote Telugu language’s rich linguistic heritage.

 Utilize audio and visual means to stimulate curiosity and enthusiasm in students to learn Telugu

  • Equip the students to face competitive examinations with Telugu as an optional subject as well as the medium and  be  successful
  • To spread Indian culture and Indian knowledge through Telugu language

 

Department History

Department of Telugu was established in the year 1962. Course was offered in B.Sc, B.Com, BA and BBA.

Etymology of Telugu History

In India number of Telugu speaking people only second to Hindi speaking people one of the most important language that is spoken in South India. Telugu language is the largest Dravidian language family. It is the official language of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.
