Building the character and moulding the personality of the student through education has been the motto of the institution – ‘Vidya Vinayena Shobhate’ , which means ‘Humility adds Lustre to Education’. So I beckon to all to begin a meaningful and value laden journey in this prestigious institution.

This is the institution which will help mould the personality of every young girl and evolve her into a woman ready to face the challenging future with utmost confidence.

The institution with its Vision of ‘Training women for a Challenging Future through Value Based Education’ caters to the fulfilment of academic and non-academic pursuits to face the ever competitive world.

Sarojini Naidu Vanita Maha Vidyalaya is a 61 year old institution facilitating thousands of students every year to “Educate, Empower and Liberate” themselves in fulfilment of its Mission.

With changing times, technological revolutions and a competitive world, every student has to stand out with her USP (Unique Selling Proposition) to achieve her goals and ambitions. We at ‘Vanita’ make it possible to bring a metamorphosis in every student by providing multiple opportunities in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Apart from academics, the institution has Sports & Games, NCC, NSS, Sangeet Vanita, Nipuni, Vanita’s Got Talent which help in identifying the strong and sturdy sports girls, the courageous cadets, the empathetic social workers, the musician or the nifty person latently hidden in every girl.  The different ‘Vanita Clubs’ facilitate students to nurture their hobbies and enliven the participative spirit.

With experienced and dedicated teachers, and excellent infrastructure, our college helps its students to achieve their goals in life. Banking Service and Civil Services coaching prepares the students towards making different career choices. The journey from Education to empowerment is fulfilled by the Placement Cell through On and Off Campus placements.

A word of Hope to all the distant aspirants from neighbouring districts and states- we have a hostel attached to the college, where you get the feeling of being ‘at Home’ with the facilities and amenities provided by us.

The Staff is an exceptional group of teachers, a cohesive team with an outstanding commitment and dedication towards their students. They are committed to provide a professional, supportive and nurturing learning environment for our students.

Vanita celebrated its Diamond Jubilee Year in 2022-23 on completion of 60 years of dedicated service in the field of Women education has contributed immensely to the cause of Nation building and has produced a number of eminent Alumnae over the years.
