PG Library

PG Library was established in 1993. The library caters to postgraduate courses namely, M.A. (English) and M. Com with strength of 40.  Later other courses were added like M.Sc. (Botany) and M.Sc. (Zoology) in 1991 and M.Sc. (Chemistry) in 2002. and M.Sc. (Physics) in 2006.Recently M.Sc (Nutrition and Dietetics) was added in 2021. The PG Library has an exclusive collection in separate racks for all the 7 courses, which are classified accordingly. It stacks a total of 11221 books.30 National International journals and periodicals. Five different news papers cater to the day to day Information requirements of the user.

 The library is automated with Newgenlib software. Students are issued are issued at one time 4 books and two magazines to home for preparation. Students have access to internet and e- resources in the library. Some of the e-resources are N-List and DELNET. Students also can take advantage of the competitive exam books like civil services, UGC-NET and TSSET, LAW, SET and GATE books on personality development etc, in the Library.

The PG Library has a varied collection of valuable books of not only subjects taught in the college but also books of general interest and of perennial literary value.  The library stacks over 11221books accessioned till March 0207/2024.
