Department Profile

Department of Chemistry has been in existence since 1960 with P.U.C. and B.Sc. It was one of the few science departments which came into existence in that year. Miss Hameeda Salar and Miss. Meherunissa were the founder members of the department. Medium of Instruction was both in English and Telugu. The department upgraded from undergraduate to postgraduate level in the year 2002. The faculty takes pride in teaching students enrolled in various courses as well as provides practical training as per the academic curriculum. Department of Chemistry deals with maximum number of students in the institution as chemistry is common to most of the combinations.
