الاعضاء المؤسسين ل سروجنى ناىدو ونيتا مها ودياليا . ثم تقديم اللغة العلبية كلغة ثاتية فى المرحلة الجامعة الاولى واللغة الكلاسيكيىة فى الفصل . سيده زبيده كلثوم حفرت الطالبات و الهمتم لتعلم هذه اللغة. فى عام 1969 التحقت السيده وجاهة النساء بالقسم فى سروجنى ناىدو ونيتا مها ودياليا فى عام 1973 ثم تعيينها كمحاضرة اللغة العربية فى كلية كوتى لطالبات حيدراباد الجامعة العثما نية . من عام 1974 التحقت السيده عاءشة بالقسم كمحاضرة للغة العربية حتى 1977 ثم انتقلت الى باكستان . فى 1978 التحقت السيده خالده ريحانة بالقسم و فى عام 1995 حصلت على درجة الدكتورة فى اللغة العربية من الجامعة العثمانية . تقاعدت زبيده كلثوم من كبار المو طفين عام 1990. انضمت السيده وقار النساء الى القسم كمحاضرة غير متفرغ فى عام 1991 حتى الان و حصلت على درجة الدكتوره 1996 من الجامعة العثمانية . التحقت السيده عشرت جهان بالقسم كمحاضرة غير متفرغ عام 2009 و تركت القسم عام 2015 .

Mra.Zubaida Kulsum (M.A Arabic) established the department of Arabic in the year 1962. She is known as one of the founder member of Sarojini Naidu Vanita Maha vidyalaya . Arabic was introduced as second language in B.A ,Bsc and B.com and classical language for BA. Mrs Zubaida motivated and inspired students to take Arabic .In 1965 sanctioned the group U.A.S (urdu –Arabic –sociology) from Osmania University. In 1969 mrs. Wajahath unnisa joined the department of Arabic at  Sarojini Naidu Vanita Mahavidyalaya and later in 1973 was appointed as a laecturer of Arabic at Koti Women’s college Osmania University  Hyderabad. From 1969 Mrs. Ayesha joined the department as Arabic lecturer till 1997. 1978Mrs.Khaleda rehana joined department in 1995 she was awarded the doctorate degree in Arabic from Osmania University.Senior staff member Zubeda Kulsum retired in 1990. Mrs.Viqar Unnisa joined the department in 1991 to till date and was awarded doctorate degree in Arabic in the year 1996 from Osmania University.

Introduction of Arabic Language:

The rise of Arabic to the status of a major world language is inextricably intertwined with the rise of Islam as a major world religion. Before the appearance of Islam Arabic was a minor member of southern branch of the Semitic language family used by small members of largely nomadic tribes in the Arabian peninsula with an extremely poorly documented textual history. This language is a language of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), Language of Quran and language of Aljannat.

Career /Opportunities

Arabic is a very usefull for the students who completion of their graduation, they want to go middle east in search of jobs . Hence the number of students had considerably increased and the department is trying to make them eloquent in modern Arabic which will help them seek jobs in gulf countries, where their official (domestic) language is also Arabic.

Many more jobs in this field like Translator, Laecturers ,Media job opportunities in embassy, interpretation and research work and National and international teachers.
